We, the Division III of Student Affairs, proudly announce the success of the Anti-Bullying Declaration and Socialization Event held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Auditorium on the 8th Floor of Buildings F & G, FTI, Universitas Trisakti. This event marks a significant step in our efforts to create a safe and supportive academic environment.

Why is Identifying Bullying Important?

Identifying bullying is the first and most crucial step in combating this phenomenon. Without proper recognition, preventive actions and interventions cannot be effectively carried out. Bullying can have long-term effects on mental health, academic performance, and student well-being.

How to Address and Prevent Bullying?

• Education: Providing information and training on bullying to students and staff.
• Clear Policies: Establishing clear and strict anti-bullying policies.
• Psychological Support: Providing psychological support for bullying victims.
• Easy Reporting: Creating an easily accessible and responsive reporting system.
• Early Intervention: Intervening as soon as possible when bullying is detected.

What to Do If Bullying Occurs?

• Discuss: Encourage victims or witnesses to speak up and report the incident.
• Support: Provide emotional and practical support to the victim.
• Action: Follow established procedures to address bullying cases.

The event began with a lively opening, followed by an enthusiastic declaration led by the Dean of FTI, Universitas Trisakti. This declaration event was marked by the signing on a banner containing the declaration by all participants present: the Vice Rector III of Universitas Trisakti, Deans of FTI, Heads of Departments, faculty members, educational staff, and student organization leaders.

The Declaration reads as follows:

The event concluded with an in-depth socialization session by Dr. Intan Nevia Cahyana, S.H., M.H. We thank all participants who have committed to supporting this anti-bullying movement.
