Joint Public Lecture “Opportunity Sessions, Work Experience and Technology”

In order to improve the alignment (link and match) of study program academic activities with the development of the needs of the business world and the industrial world.
then FTI Usakti presents practitioners and professionals from the industry to share experiences and knowledge and expertise with academics, both students, lecturers and employees. The realization of this commitment has been stated through a Joint Public Lecture entitled “Opportunity, Working Experience and Technology Session”. The activity was held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, involving 4 Engineering faculties at Usakti, namely FTI, FTKE, FALTL and FTSP, because the resource persons were alumni who had successful careers in partner companies (PT Bakrie Pipe Industry). The partner assigned 9 executive leaders, namely Abi Aji Saka, ST, MM., Betalevi Utama, ST, CIPM., Muhammad Rizky Khairi, ST, MBA., Lise Maitner Sihombing, ST, MT. and Arifo Gunawan Cahyanegoro, ST, MT, IWE. by carrying out three main topics, namely:
Welding Methods: Exploring the latest welding methods, innovative techniques, and the application of safety standards in the industry.
Product Knowledge: Provides in-depth insight into superior products that can improve work efficiency and production quality.
Pipeline Protection System: Discussing modern technology in pipeline protection systems to ensure the resilience, efficiency, and safety of energy infrastructure.

The engineering industry continues to grow at a rapid pace, offering great opportunities for professionals and students to enhance their competencies in this modern era. In an era of globalization and rapid technological development, the engineering industry, particularly in the fields of welding and pipe protection, continues to undergo significant transformation. To prepare a competent workforce that understands the latest technology.

The seminar was a venue for sharing experiences between industry experts and participants, which included students, engineering professionals, and practitioners in various sectors. The interactive discussions and relevant materials succeeded in providing participants with a new understanding of the career opportunities, work experience, and technologies that support the future development of the engineering industry.
