In an effort to improve the performance and quality of academic activities, especially in partnership management, on Monday, December 16, 2024, a collaboration was inaugurated between Trisakti University and Daarul Uluum Lido Modern Islamic Boarding School in Bogor, located in the Main Meeting Room of FTI Usakti. The inauguration was witnessed by the Dean and Vice Dean IV from FTI and FTSP, as well as study program leaders at FTI and lecturers from FALTL.

The meeting also agreed on a cooperation agenda for Research with 5 Mechanical Engineering lecturers and 2 Informatics Engineering lecturers, to oversee 7 cooperation programs. The 5 activities of the Mechanical Engineering department are:

1. Extension of Poultry Feeding Mixer Machine: Dr. Dody Prayitno, ST M.Eng.
2. Training on Waste Management and Processing of plastic water bottles: Dr. Ir. Sally Cahyati,MT.
3. Training on Operation and Maintenance of Magot Sieving Equipment: Dr. Ir. Tono Sukarnoto, MT.
4. Incinerator Technology Training: Annisa Bhikuning, M.Eng Ph.D.
5. Training on Material Selection and Incenerator Maintenance:  Dr. Ir. Daisman Purnomo BA.

While 2 activities from the Informatics Engineering department are:

1. Capacity building for teachers in teaching Computational Thinking:   Dr. Binti Sholihah, ST, M.Kom.
2. Assistance for the Digital Transformation program at Daarul Uluum Modern Islamic Boarding School: Dr. Ahmad Zuhdi, M.Kom.

In addition, it is planned to assist the development of community service programs / activities and promotion for graduates (high school) from the pesantren.  Hopefully in the future, this collaboration can also be utilized by the Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering departments.
