A brief History

The Faculty of Industrial Technology Universitas Trisakti (FTI-Usakti) was established in 1982, based on the Rector’s Decree of Universitas Trisakti Number: 026/USAKTI/SKR/IX/1982. FTI-Usakti is one of the faculties that resulted from the development of the Faculty of Engineering, which was established simultaneously with Universitas Trisakti on November 29, 1965. At the time of its establishment, FTI-Usakti consisted of two departments: the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Currently, FTI-Usakti comprises four departments: the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Industrial Engineering (established in 1984), and the Department of Informatics Engineering (established in 1996). It offers eight study programs, namely Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Master of Mechanical Engineering, Master of Electrical Engineering, and Master of Industrial Engineering. The accreditation status of these eight study programs is as follows:
