Trisakti International Student Exchange Program (TRISEP) is Usakti’s annual international cooperation program to carry out academic exchanges (both students and lecturers) with foreign universities, especially from countries in the ASEAN region and beyond. This year, TRISEP raises the theme: “Indonesian Cultural Insights: Exploring Yogyakarta’s Heritage” and was attended by students from various partner universities in Malaysia, India, and Vietnam.
On the first occasion, a lecturer from the Electrical Engineering Department of FTI Usakti on April 30, 2025 presented a lecture entitled “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cultural Disruption” which was presented online, then continued with the presentation of a lecturer from the Faculty of Information Science Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Cawangan Serawak, Sharin bin Sulaiman, MSc. to 23 students and lecturers of FTI USakti. This International Guest Lecture was held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 held in a hybrid manner, in the Trisakti Smart Classroom room, Heri Hartanto Building 7th floor and Zoom channel. The lecture presented was titled: The Importance of Social Engineering: Case study Muzium Warisan Islam Serawak.
The Islamic Heritage Museum was inaugurated by Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr.) Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud, Chief Minister of Sarawak, on May 22, 1992. The building was formerly the James Brooke Malay College and was later taken over and converted to its current status as a museum.
Trisep 2025 participants consisted of 32 students from various countries and study programs, including 2 students of Informatics study program and 2 Information Systems study programs of the Faculty of Information Science Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Cawangan Serawak. In addition, there were also 6 accompanying lecturers and 1 registration staff.
