According to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2003 on the National Education System and Law of the Republic of Indonesia No.12 of 2012 on Higher Education, it is stated that Learning is the interaction between educators, students, and learning resources, in a certain learning environment “.

The learning process through compulsory curricular activities should be carried out systematically and structured through various courses with a measurable learning load and using effective teaching methods according to the characteristics of the courses.

The learning methods that can be chosen for the implementation of course learning, include group discussions, simulations, case studies, collaborative learning, cooperative learning, project-based learning, problem-based learning, or other learning methods, which can effectively facilitate the achievement of learning outcomes. In determining the learning methods, attention should be paid to:

1. The learning outcomes of the respective courses
2. The depth level of the course
3. Available resources
4. Lecturer : student ratio per class
5. The number of students in one class
6. The availability of facilities and infrastructure

The methods used are based on the Student Learning Center (SCL) to develop self-learning independence, creativity, and a learning spirit, enhance critical thinking, and communication skills.

Referring to the curriculum, lecturers can choose the most suitable method based on the characteristics and learning outcomes of their courses. According to the Planning and Development of Curriculum Guidelines (revised) of Universitas Trisakti in 2015, some examples of learning methods that can be used are:
