Jakarta, May 27, 2025 – The Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) Universitas Trisakti showed its commitment in expanding academic networks and collaborations by holding a strategic cooperation exploration event with Politeknik PGRI Banten. This important meeting was held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at FTI Universitas Trisakti.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology Trisakti University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rianti Dewi Sulamet-Ariobimo, ST, M.Eng, IPM. Her presence emphasized the seriousness of FTI in establishing a mutually beneficial partnership. From Politeknik PGRI Banten, competent leadership representatives were also present to discuss potential collaboration.

During the meeting, both parties discussed various prospective cooperation opportunities. The discussion included the possibility of student and lecturer exchanges, joint research, community service, curriculum development relevant to industry needs, and joint utilization of laboratory facilities. This collaboration is expected to improve the quality of education and the relevance of graduates from both institutions in the industrial era 4.0.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Rianti Dewi Sulamet-Ariobimo said that this exploration was a positive first step to build synergy between FTI Trisakti University, which has long experience in industrial engineering education, and Politeknik PGRI Banten, which focuses on vocational education. “We hope that this collaboration can provide real benefits for students, lecturers, and the wider community, and support the advancement of technology and industry in Indonesia,” he said.

Both parties agreed to immediately follow up on the results of this exploration by drafting a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and designing more concrete cooperation programs in the near future. This exploration is a clear proof of the commitment of FTI Trisakti University in strengthening the higher education ecosystem and contributing to the development of superior human resources.
