Inauguration of Cooperation between Universitas Trisakti and Yuan Ze University Taiwan

Tuesday, July 22, 2025 marks an important milestone in the international collaboration between the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) of Universitas Trisakti and Yuan Ze University (YZU) Taiwan. On this day, at the Hery Hartanto F & G Building, Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti, both parties officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will serve as the basis for various cooperation programs in the future.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the leadership of both universities. From FTI Universitas Trisakti, the Director of the Office of International Affairs, Cooperation, and Culture (KUIKK) Ir. Agus Guntoro, M.Si., Ph.D, Dean of FTI (Prof. Dr. Ir. Rianti Dewi Sulamet-Ariobimo, ST, M.Eng, IPM.), Vice Dean for Academic Affairs (Dr. Ir. Nora Azmi, ST, MT.), Vice Dean for Cooperation (Dr. Ahmad Zuhdi, SSi, M.Kom.), and the relevant Department Chair. Meanwhile, the delegation from Yuan Ze University Taiwan was led by (Professor Yun-Chia, Liang – Chief, Global Affairs Office).

In his speech, Dean of FTI Usakti Prof. Dr. Ir. Rianti Dewi Sulamet-Ariobimo, ST, M.Eng, IPM., and Director of the Office of International Affairs, Cooperation, and Culture (KUIKK) Ir. Agus Guntoro, M.Si., Ph.D. expressed their deep appreciation for the realization of this collaboration. He emphasized the importance of cross-border collaboration in facing global challenges in the field of industrial technology. “This MoU is a strategic first step to enrich the academic experience of our students and lecturers, as well as to improve the quality of research and innovation in both institutions,” he said.

Similarly, Professor Yun-Chia, Liang – Chief, Global Affairs Office also expressed his delight at this partnership. He explained that Yuan Ze University is strongly committed to establishing international relations, particularly in the field of research and technological development. “We are very enthusiastic about sharing our expertise and resources with Universitas Trisakti FTI. We are confident that this collaboration will have a significant positive impact on the advancement of science and technology in both countries,” said Professor Yun-Chia, Liang – Chief, Global Affairs Office.

This MoU covers various forms of cooperation, including:

  1. Student and faculty exchange: Providing opportunities for students and faculty from both parties to experience learning and teaching in different academic environments.
  2. Joint research: Encouraging collaboration in research projects relevant to the field of industrial technology, in order to produce innovations and solutions to global problems.
  3. Joint scientific publications: Strengthening the dissemination of research results through publications in international journals.
  4. Curriculum development: Exchanging views and experiences in developing curricula relevant to industry needs.
  5. Joint seminars, workshops, and conferences: Organizing scientific activities to share knowledge and expand professional networks.

The signing of this MoU is expected to open a new chapter in the close relationship between the Faculty of Industrial Technology of Universitas Trisakti and Yuan Ze University Taiwan. This collaboration will not only strengthen the academic and research capacities of both institutions, but also contribute to the advancement of the industrial technology sector in both countries.
